SUSTAINABILITY

Today, as leaders contend with the destructive power of climate change and the risks posed by its runaway effects, doing nothing is not an option. Berkeley Haas is dedicated to preparing students not just for careers in sustainability but to bring a sustainability lens to every role, function, and decision within their organizations.

This year, Haas launched the Michaels Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business to empower new leaders to create the economic and social transition to a climate resilient, low-carbon, and equitable future. The certificate was started with a $1 million gift from Doris and Charlie Michaels, BS 78.
