VOLUNTEERS

Berkeley Haas keeps alumni connected to the school and to one another thanks to a large network of volunteers around the globe. And during the pandemic, these individuals found creative ways to forge and maintain community.

Our UK Chapter, for example, piloted a Class Audit Program featuring Haas Lecturer Greg LaBlanc. Some 30 UK and European Union alumni tuned in virtually this past spring to the eight-week digital strategy course. Small study groups allowed alumni to build community not just online but in real-time once restrictions were lifted.

The FTMBA Class of 2001 (shown below) organized an extra-special 20th reunion. After surveying classmates, reunion committee members crafted additional virtual events, including discussions on cryptocurrency for fun and profit and the future of business and climate. They also hosted happy hours in both U.S. and European time zones and attracted a large group for the Haas-hosted mixology demonstration followed by team trivia.

On these pages, we celebrate the many individuals who keep the Berkeley Haas network thriving.
