COMMUNITY ADVOCATES

Abbey Breshears, MBA 15, and Brandon Doll, MBA 14, inspire Haas applicants

Contributing to a diverse class of MBA leaders, Abbey Breshears and Brandon Doll have made a tremendous impact recruiting women and veterans for Haas as part of the MBA Worldwide Admissions Volunteer Effort (MBA WAVE). They’ve also forged meaningful connections with prospective and admitted students, inspiring them to join our community and thrive.

Breshears, a brand manager at Clorox, has attended nearly 30 admissions events for the full-time MBA program since graduating, making her one of the most active alumni volunteers worldwide. Her energy and affection for Haas are palpable, whether fielding questions at recruiting fairs, calling admitted students, or sharing her insights on a career panel. With an eye toward supporting women MBA candidates, Breshears conducted more than 20 interviews in the 2017–18 cycle, the most of any volunteer.

Doll, the vice president of strategy and business development for the Oakland Raiders, has helped recruit and enroll fellow U.S. military service members. A Navy veteran and former president of the Haas Veterans Club, Doll has counseled dozens of veteran candidates and has returned to the school as a guest speaker, panelist, and admissions interviewer on numerous occasions. With his support, the admissions team nearly tripled the number of incoming veteran students since he graduated.
